Going by the above common factors present in the charts of all seven earthquakes, let us see how we can predict earthquakes.
Assuming that you are keeping abreast of daily planetary motions, you should check the ephemeris to know if Jupiter or Saturn is in retrograde motion. This is only to arrive at some pre-conceived notion that an earth quake may take place during the retrogression period.
Then, draw out a Rasi chart and Navamsa chart for any given time on any day falling in the retrogression period. Regarding the place, you can prepare a list of places where earthquakes are repeatedly occurring or select a declared earthquake-prone place, a city or a town or a village in any earthquake zone. (But don’t limit yourself to those places only as earthquakes can occur in any place which may not have witnessed one so far.)
Examine if the Lagna is under the influence of Venus or Jupiter or Saturn or by any two of them or by all of them irrespective of the retrogression of Jupiter or Saturn. If such influence exists, then examine if Mars is under the influence of Jupiter or Saturn or of both the planets directly or indirectly. If such influence exits, find out if Mars is also influencing Moon or Saturn or both. If all these influences are found in the chart, then you can conclude that a destructive earth quake may strike the place and at the time with which you have drawn out a chart.
The problem is if the chart doesn’t concur with the factors, you have to draw out another one for a different time and different place. This way you have to keep drawing till you get a chart which meets the astrological factors. This is the only way to find out the timing and place for predicting earthquakes. There is no other go.
A simple procedure
You can make it very simple also. Look for the positions of Venus, Jupiter and Saturn in a daily chart. Since one of them must influence Lagna through aspect or association, take any sign influenced by them as Lagna. Then, look for Jupiter or Saturn influence on Mars and that of Mars on Moon or Saturn. If you find the factors, then prepare a chart with different latitudes and longitudes ensuring that lagna would fall in that particular sign. You shall go on making charts till you meet the cited factors. Obviously, this is a simpler method compared to the first cited one.
An analysis of the chart of the devastating earthquake that rocked Nepal killing more than 7000 people and destroying thousands of houses on April 25, 2015 would be uploaded soon. The astrological factors arrived at in the three-part article would be applied to the Nepal earthquake for academic purposes and for your analytical study.
