You might have heard of Kuja Dosha in a natal chart in astrology. You must also have heard that a girl having Kuja Dosha should be given in marriage only to a boy having Kuja Dosha. A false campaign has been systematically undertaken to say that the marriage would break up or wife or husband would die in course of time if that is not the case.
The statement is correct to some extent. It is not correct to say that wife or husband would die if one of them has Kuja Dosha and the other doesn’t have. The fact is planetary positions in a chart would not guide the destiny of others, husband or wife or anybody else.
If that is the case, one’s chart would guide the destiny of others in a family and each and every one in a family need not have separate astrological natal charts. If the head of a family has a natal chart, that itself is enough to study the lives of the entire family members. However, in practice, this would not happen and separate charts are taken out for each and every individual. This is enough to say that one’s chart can’t guide the destiny of others in a family.
Misgivings about Kuja Dosha not correct
Each and every body’s destiny is guided by his / her natal chart and not by any body’s .For this reason, the statement on Kuja Dosha is not correct.
What is missing from the statement is that the quantity of Dosha should be the same for both bride and bride groom for any marriage to survive. Dosha is negative tendency prevalent in a person as indicated by his or her natal chart.
Kuja Dosha means negativity found in a chart by the presence of Mars (Angarak or Kuja) in houses that represent family, domestic happiness, life partner, longevity and bed comforts as expressed by 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th houses respectively.
The negativity is also obtained by the presence of other malefic planets Saturn, Rahu, Ketu and Sun in the houses mentioned. When you count only Kuja Dosha and leave aside the other planetary Doshas, you are not correctly calculating the Dosha part.
Other malefic planets also cause Dosha
People talk about only Kuja Dosha as it is formed by Kuja (Mars) which is the most malefic planet in a natal chart. However, the presence of other malefic planets such as Sani( Saturn), Rahu, Ketu and Sun in houses of 2, 4, 7, 8 and 12 would also cause Dosha or negativity along with that of Kuja.
However, all the while, people have given importance to Kuja Dosha and neglected the other Doshas, knowingly or unknowingly. This is the folly on part of the believers of astrology. This is the folly of astrologers also who failed to educate the common people on the issue.
So, when you count Dosha or negativity for comparative purposes, Doshas from all planets should be taken into consideration.
